Birdman has just completed the purchase of a brand new 2011 Maybach Exelero for $8 Million plus import taxes & fees. It is being shipped as we speak and will reach U.S soil within a week.

The German luxury car manufacturer created the one-off model as a modern interpretation of its legendary streamlined sportscar from the 1930s. There are various allusions to the historical predecessor, which was likewise based on a powerful Maybach automobile.

The Teflon Don, Rick Ross, endorses only the freshest of kicks and just recently, he has given Reebok’s Kamikaze IIIs a heavyweight thumbs up. On June 6th, 2011 a track hit the internet entitled “Reebok Back” in which the Maybach Monster promoted the new shoes and urged sneaker junkies to purchase a pair.
The song, sampling the “Tupac’s Back” beat, is a little over three minutes long and features Meek Mill and super-producer Swizz Beatz. The bearded beat buster raps on the hook, “Reebok back/ that’s all they really screamin’ is that Reebok back/ bought the black and the white/ the highs and the lows/ know this is Swizz Beatz edition/ cause them b*tches, they glow/ I mean look at them laces/ only money I’m chasin’/ yeah, they might call them classics/ but for a baller that’s basic/ they screamin’ Reebok back”

However, as entertaining as the song is, the real interesting part about this story is the fact that the shoes were designed by Swizz Beatz himself. For those who don’t know, Beatz is actually a clothing designer, painter, and a shoe designer in addition to being a music producer. A tweet from Beatz last year announced his business venture with Reebok in which he would design and help market a series of limited edition sneakers.
The new shoes were called Kamikaze’s and the original batch sold out in only ten minutes after hitting the market.

Nathaniel was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to Melbourne, Australia, when he was 6 years old. Growing up in a culture immersed in musical and artistic expression, Nathaniel developed a passion for music that has taken him on a journey from Africa, to the stages of Australian Idol 2006, to the recording studios of Melbourne.

Nathaniel’s music is a unique blend of musical genres, smoothly fusing acoustic soul and R&B together with elements of rock, funk and jazz. Nathaniel relies heavily on the personal experiences that he has encountered throughout his life as motivation for his songwriting. Whenever he performs, Nathaniel draws inspiration from his musical influences, legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Al Green and Marvin Gaye just to name a few. He has recently been hard at work in the studio, collaborating with some of Australia’s most prolific and accomplished songwriters, producers and musicians such as Jade Mcrae, Phil Turcio [Guy Sebastian “Taller, Stronger, Better”], brothers Gary and Brad Pinto, (CDB), Paul Cecchinelli [Anthony Callea “Live For Love”], Mandy Kane and TZU’s Pip Norman.

Nathaniel’s debut single “Vertigo” was released exclusively via iTunes early last year and the accompanying music video clip, which was shot at Melbourne’s iconic Eureka Tower, nationally aired on Channel 10’s Video Hits alongside a nation-wide competition which were all met with an amazing response. During his recent promotional campaign, he was interviewed by FOX FM for their Australian First program and delivered a live acoustic performance on air of his single “Vertigo.” In addition to this, he has performed live on Channel 9’s Mornings with Kerri-Anne and headlined the exclusive 2007 New Year’s Eve party for Channel 7 and 3AW at Melbourne’s Eureka Tower.

Since performing his laid-back soul version of the U2 hit “Vertigo” on Australian Idol 2006 and blowing audiences and judges away with his extraordinary vocal talent and exceptional good looks, Nathaniel is undoubtedly on his way to being recognised as one of Australia’s greatest contemporary voices. He has the reach and likeability of talent such as John Farnham and Justin Timberlake and is destined to fill a void in the Australian market that is currently there for the taking.

Frank Ocean is a 23-year-old New Orleans-born, Beverly Hills-based singer who’s in the gleefully hedonistic hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. Frank Ocean is also known as Christopher “Lonny” Breaux, a songwriter who has helped pen tracks for Justin Bieber, John Legend, and Brandy over the last few years. He’s the latest example of why the major label system is crumbling at the knees of Twitter and Tumblr, too. After getting signed to Island Def Jam about a year ago, the label proceeded to ignore him. Until February 16, that is. That’s when Ocean decided to give away his debut album, Nostalgia, Ultra, for free on his Tumblr.FRANK OCEAN
